Laurie Goodman

Hello. I’m Laurie and I’ve been writing for over twenty years. But I wasn’t always a copywriter.

I spent years working as a paralegal in both the criminal and civil fields.

And I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology that I thought about parlaying into a doctorate at one point in time.

But I was always drawn to writing. So when my daughter started high school, I went to grad school and got my MFA in writing for children and young adults.

Little did I know how useful my creative writing skills would be when it came time to craft messages as a copywriter.

Over the years, I’ve discovered that just like in literature, there really is a perfect way to say something—whether it’s dialogue in a novel or a banner headline on a website.

And it’s my job to do just that.

When I’m not writing, I can usually be found playing with my dogs, enjoying the outdoors, or reading a good book.

Oh, and come fall, I’ll be planted in front of my television set watching the Baltimore Ravens play football—unless of course you need me. Then I’m all yours.
